1. Scope and contact
This Privacy Policy applies to the MedTrip Vietnam website and enquiries handled by the MedTrip Vietnam team. 2. Information we process
Information you provide may include your full name, email, WhatsApp or phone number, country, treatment interest, message and the service or provider page associated with your enquiry. If you contact us directly, we may also receive correspondence and appointment preferences.
Website hosting and security services may process technical information such as IP address, browser details, requested pages and access times. Please do not enter medical records, passport details, payment-card information or other unnecessary sensitive information into the initial enquiry form.
3. How the enquiry form works
The current form prepares a message in your browser and opens WhatsApp, or an email draft if WhatsApp is unavailable. It does not submit the enquiry to a MedTrip website lead database. You review and send the message in the selected application.
Opening the application link can transmit the prepared information in the link to that service before you press Send. The final message is delivered to the MedTrip conversation or mailbox when you send it. Information you send is then handled through that communication channel and this policy.
4. Purposes and processing choices
We use relevant information to respond to your enquiry, clarify your needs, identify suitable providers, coordinate requested appointments, support follow-up communication, handle complaints and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
We request consent where required and explain additional purposes before using information for them. An enquiry is not permission for unrelated marketing. You may choose not to provide information, although we may then be unable to respond or coordinate the requested service.
5. Healthcare information and sharing
Health information is sensitive. If records are needed, agree an appropriate transfer method with MedTrip and the treating provider first. Share only information relevant to the requested care. Where required, we seek your specific consent before collecting or sharing health records.
Relevant information may be shared with the healthcare provider you ask us to contact, personnel assisting your enquiry, communication or hosting providers, and competent authorities when legally required. We limit sharing to the relevant purpose. Providers are responsible for their own clinical records and privacy practices; requesting coordination does not authorize publication of your name, photographs or medical story.
6. External services and international processing
WhatsApp, Zalo, email services and external websites apply their own privacy terms. Some service providers may process information outside your country or outside Vietnam. We consider applicable requirements when arranging transfers under our control and obtain consent or take other steps where required. External platforms operate their own systems; review their policies before sharing information.
7. Retention and security
We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed for the request, related follow-up, complaint resolution and applicable legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove identifying details where practicable. Retention by messaging or email platforms follows their own policies.
We restrict access to people who need information for the relevant task and use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use or disclosure involving your enquiry.
8. Cookies and browser storage
The website does not intentionally save enquiry content or health records in localStorage. Google Tag Manager is used to manage website tags. Cookies and measurement depend on the tags configured in the container. The MedTrip integration does not add enquiry form field values or medical records to the data layer. Technical caching, security functions and external services may use their own storage mechanisms.
9. Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to know about or access information concerning you, correct inaccuracies, request deletion or restriction, object to processing, withdraw consent, and make a complaint or seek a remedy. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal. Some information may need to be retained under law.
Send requests to contact@medtripvietnam.com, describing the request and the contact channel used. We may seek proportionate verification of identity and respond within applicable legal time limits. Do not send identity documents unless we explain why they are necessary and agree a suitable channel. You may also contact the relevant authority or exercise other rights available under applicable law.
10. Children and policy updates
The enquiry service is intended for adults. A parent or lawful representative should make requests for children and confirm the authority to share their information; any additional consent requirements must also be met. Tell us if a child has provided information without the required authorization.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in services or requirements. The updated date is shown on this page. Material changes affecting new purposes or consent will be communicated as required.
